Lost and Love: Thailand (Book One of the Lost and Love Series) by Stella Knights is a romance novel and, as indicated in the title, the first book in the “Lost and Love Series.” Savannah ‘Peaches’ is dissatisfied with her work and is also feeling that her marriage with Johnny has since lost the passion it once had before they started living together. She needs a break, more precisely a holiday, to shortly stay away from the job and have some time for herself to relax and not worry about work. Also, she hopes that having this holiday with her husband will enable them to save their marriage from collapsing by bringing back the love, passion, and connection they initially felt for each other. This holiday she intends to have soon but, first, she wants to discuss it with Johnny to see if he also buys into the idea and possibly finance it.

Johnny agreed upon the discussion but he only wanted them to visit just a place in his home country, Australia. Savannah, however, was not into the suggestion since she wanted a place far away from home, where they would just be alone without any form of disturbance either from her in-laws or workplace. In her mind, she was dying to go to Thailand, a place she had been yearning to visit since she was a child. Johnny luckily accepted Savannah's suggestion partly due to persuasion and partly as a way of pleasing her. However, it was until they reached Thailand when they realized that more turbulence awaited their marriage. Will this marriage survive despite all the hurdles?

I liked the way this novel was written and executed. The story was given the first-person narrative approach and told in the perspective of Savannah. I was, therefore, able to see romance from the perspective of a woman and learned so many things that ladies expect from their husbands. Besides, the characters were also well-developed, each with distinctive traits that not only made them interesting but also relatable to the people in the real world. Stella Knights also did a great job of steering the plot with the right pace sufficient to keep a reader glued throughout this poignant novel. For instance, alternating the intimate scenes and the scenes about the couple's struggles kept me engrossed in this book to the extent of barely realizing I had reached the end of the story. The cliffhanger at the end of the story also made me want to read the next book in the series, and I'll be eager to grab its copy as soon as it will be out.

What I liked the most about this book was its message on the problems people usually face in their marriages. I noticed a lot of tension between Savannah and her mother-in-law, Gail, whom she felt had taken a lot of Johnny's time at her expense. Besides, Savannah was highly bothered by the degree of attention her husband gave to his phone and social media. This habit went on even to the extent of robbing the couple of a chance of proper communication between them. These and other more concerns resulted in various issues, and I liked the way the couple attempted to solve them. By reading this book, other readers will also learn how to deal with some of the marriage dramas.

All in all, I did not find anything to dislike about this book. It was perfectly edited since I did not find any grammatical or typographical errors. I'm, therefore, glad to award Lost and Love: Thailand (Book One of the Lost and Love Series) by Stella Knights 4 out of 4 stars. I immensely enjoyed this novel as I found it both interesting and relatable. I highly recommend it to fans of romance and adventure stories. However, this book may be inappropriate for minors or those who may be affected by explicit descriptions of sex scenes.

I really enjoyed reading and reviewing this book as well! I didn't like the cliffhanger ending but that's a matter of personal taste I guess. I do agree that the book is a realistic portrayal of what can happen when the intimacy in a marriage fizzles out. Thanks for the great review!
