The book Lost and Love Thailand Book One of the Lost and Love Series by Stella Knights. The story revolves around a woman named Savannah, a call center agent for an insurance company despite having a Biology Degree. Savannah was experiencing a bad day at work, as always, and dealing with rude costumers was not helping her get through the day faster. During her break in the pantry, she was contemplating how her life ended up this way, like nothing was going right. She thought graduating college, securing a job and getting married would make everything fine but in the back of her mind something was missing and she couldn’t shake off that feeling. A falling poster snaps her out of her deep trance which read: ‘employee of the year’ emphasizing that the winner will earn a trip for two to Thailand. A thought crossed her mind that life was teasing her as it was her dream to visit the country. Savannah was spending time with her husband Johnny when she suggested a holiday with him away from their working lives or from any distractions. She clings onto the hope that this holiday would help her find the love and passion that she once had with her husband. Could this relaxing holiday go as Savannah’s plan or take a different turn?
The key points that made the book very interesting are the following: The book portrayed a realistic idea of a married life. Each character was constructed well as that only adds to the development of the story even more. The novel was well written and very much detailed which in my eyes is the key element that made it interesting for me as a reader. I didn’t have any dissatisfaction about the book at all, if anything it made me anxious on whatever could happen next. The book just left a nice impression and I completely enjoyed my time reading it.
The book portrayed vulgar words but I certainly didn’t mind for it was a tool of expression within the book, just how people in reality use such words to express how they feel in both constructive and expressive perspectives. Aside from the vulgar words, the book did have erotic and sexual descriptions which I would rate 10 out of 10 because I was taken aback on how it was vividly depicted. The book is actually well written and did not have any typos nor grammatical errors. The story was easy to read and had a wonderful flow.
I think the perfect audience for this book would be women rather than men. Ladies above 18 years old who are looking for something spicy or would like to try anything out of their comfort zone. It is a book that could give them a slice of adventure and fantasy.
I would like to give this book a rating of 4 out of 4. Like what I have written earlier, I fully enjoyed reading it for it was anything but too difficult to understand. From a personal perspective, it is a book well thought out which is why it gave me the feeling of wanting more thus giving it a perfect rating of 4. It is safe for me to quote that the next book is something I long for to be released.
