The book {I} One Way Or Another {/I} by {b} Mary J. Williams {/b} was a pleasure for me to read. It is about four sisters that all have different fathers, which makes it even more enjoyable to read. As the reader gets to see how each girl is different but so much alike at the same time. Their mother, Billie was a character all by herself. She was married and divorced six times but thought she was in love each time. I had to chuckle to myself because my daughter's name is Billie but she is in no way like the Billie in this book. I think it is amusing how she named each of her daughters. She gave them name of each of their father's last name. All four of the daughters live in a mansion with their mother and all have their own wealth. But after reading the first few pages, I realized the girls are not like any other rich girls. Each has their own business they are running and in turn help others who are less fortunate.

The main character in this story is Calder, who was named after her father Edwin Calder. An interesting thing about her is she is a twin but they have different fathers. That alone made reading this book more interesting for me. I am not sure I could handle that as well as Calder and her sisters seem to have done. Calder stumbles into a man named Adam that proves to be someone she will not soon forget. They bumped into one another again and sparks began flying between them. There are some funny moments in the story between these two characters and some serious ones but I enjoyed reading how they handled all situations they were faced with.

This book is about romance but a hint of mystery too. That is why I enjoyed it so much. I give this book {b} 4 out of 4 stars.{/b} I would recommend anyone over the age of 18, due to some strong language, read this book if you like romance stories. I will be getting the other books involving these characters to keep the story going.
