Sugar and Spice.A title that piques your interest. A book by H.M Irwing, it captures and holds your attention from the beginning to the very end. And you are still left craving more.

I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars.H.M Irwing,in my perspective, is a very professional and talented writer who really knows what she is putting down on paper.

One thing I loved most about the book is how descriptive the prologue was.Knowing the background of the characters made the story very easy and pleasant to read.I couldn't give the book a rating of 3 because that would simply be insulting to the level of prowess displayed by the author. And since it is a romance novel, we obviously expect some sex scenes, which are present.

On a scale of 1-5,the scenes get a 2.Not because they weren't well written.No.The scenes are just not descriptive or very vivid.Vulgar words are rarely used during the sex scenes.H.M Irwing does not really explain the scenes a lot. Just enough to give you an idea and leave you feeling hot.

For this very reason, Sugar and Spice is more suited to young adults. They can identify with the characters in the story:learn some things from them and avoid making the same mistakes they made.

H.M Irwing describes the characters to the tiniest detail and you can actually see them in your mind's eye. But putting that aside, what kept me at the edge of my seat was how deeply Irwing brings out the characters' emotions. Having read other books before,I have to say that that is not an easily achievable feat. While reading Sugar and Spice, you unconsciously put yourself in the characters' shoes, seeing what they see, feeling what they feel;anger, pain, bitterness, happiness. It is simply emotionally involving.

Sugar and Spice was simply a spell binding book to the point that I hardly noticed any errors. The plot is well developed, the language used is easy to understand. You don't have to worry about using a dictionary!

I really enjoyed reading the book Sugar and Spice. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good read.It is expertly written. You don't have to worry about long, boring chapters because H.M Irwing surely delivers without a doubt. This book is surely worth your time.
