"Everyone isn’t what they seem, and everyone isn’t who they say they are. What begins as a sweet romantic encounter becomes complicated... what starts as a thrilling attraction quickly turns deadly."

Sounds intriguing. I think I'd enjoy this read.

Thank you for your review. I was a bit distraught at the end of the sample pages as I wanted to be able to keep reading. Your review added on to my interest. Your review tells me that secrets and skeletons in the closet are going to come out, but doesn't give me any specifics. Perfect!

I'm interested to see if Zia's character traits irk me as well...sounds like they might.

Zia's character showed many flaws, but at the same time that makes her much more realistic as you don't need a perfect character, just the one you can relate to. Also, the fact that this intense plot has humor in it makes it a very good read.

Your review was so engaging, especially from where you asked the reader to buckle up. Thank you for this well-written review!

Chameleons are adept camouflage practitioners. It seems quite understandable that the author used this as the title of the book. By the way, I like to say that I laud the artist's choice of the sensual looking girl in the cover. She just exude the proper aura of an inviting and sultry femme fatale that projects romance. Thanks for the nice review.

Romance is not my cup of tea so I will have to pass on the book. Thank you for your review.

It starts like a romance but evolves into a captivating thriller. Sounds like a great combination. I will add it to my list of books to read.

I think I enjoyed reading this review more than reading the book itself. I was captivated by the writing style of this author. I appreciated the clear descriptions she provided about the book, which made me see myself reading the book. I struggled with the start of the book but this review made me want to stick it out and read the book until the end.

I don’t read many romance books, so I will pass on this one. Your review painted a great picture of this exciting book!

Zia has anxiety that is on the verge of exploding. It took me a bit to understand her aloof personality, but I'm rooting for her to succeed in the literary agent.
