The storyline seems interesting. The characters of Alexandra and Patrick seem intriguing. The alternating narrative will sure be a way to understand the characters' psyche. Congrats on BOTD!

I do not mind dark romance in psychological thrillers but women knowingly falling by misogynistic playboys is a theme that puts me off. Thanks for a very insightful review!

This sounds like a tempestuous relationship. The author's writing evoked strong feelings about the different characters. I liked how you described the increasing tension between Patrick and Alexandra. Great review!

Quite a novel! It really is very addictive. I like the way the author allows a female reader like me to peep into the mind of a man. It helps me to better appreciate how the sexes view intimacy differently.

This is a cross between a dark romance and a psychological drama. It contains erotic and violent scenes. Congratulations to the author for crafting this superb story chosen as BOTD. Thanks to the reviewer for your excellent and honest review.

This seems like a book that I would enjoy. A dark romance? Sign me up. You praised it quite highly; it must be awesome. Thanks for your review.

I'm usually a sucker for romance novels , and this one sounds to be as realistic as can be. The author sounds like she did an amazing job with this book, but I'm afraid I'd have to pass this one on mainly because of some of the issues dealt with in it. I would however recommend it, because it does sound like a fascinating read.

I do not typically like explicit sex scenes in books, but the psychological factor has me intrigued!
There is no frigate like a book
To take us lands away,
Nor any coursers like a page
Of prancing poetry.
This traverse may the poorest take
Without oppress of toll;
How frugal is the chariot
That bears a human soul!

Dark romance is really not my cup of tea. Though, the suspense and psychological thriller part sound exciting. Plus, the central characters seems well developed and fully fleshed out. Thank you for the detailed review.

In reality a love story is not always a happy story there more bad experience of relationships than good ones now a days. And this book seems to portray one of those in a phycological thriller more than a romance. The author have done a great job with the book I think, even though the ending is rushed. But I don't like to read about violence and abuse in a story hence I will have to pass this one. Thank you for a great review as well as the post script. :tiphat:
