Sugar & Spice by H. M. Irwing is the third book in the Little Sisters Series. It can be read on its own but for better understanding, I recommend you read the other two.

Catherine Little, Cat, is the daughter of Patrick and Mary Little. A twin sister to Emily and a younger sister to Lucy. She has always been a nerd and less outgoing compared to her twin who has always been the light of every social scene. So, this one night a friend of theirs has a party and she tags along with Emily knowing she will stay in the shadows. It surprises her when this handsome young man takes notice of her, and she craves the attention he gives, leading to a one night stand.

Sadiq Al Fayyad is not only having problems with his father the Sultan but also his stepbrother who will soon take over the reins from their dad. He's itching for a fight as he sought out Daniel but instead, he heads to Marks' party to find some release. What he finds is a young blond girl who seems interested in him and decides to release his tension with her. However, things change drastically as Cat falls pregnant, yet he's obligated to someone else. Read to find out more on this forbidden romance.

H. M. Irwing is a romantic fiction writer and has always written exceptional books, this one isn't any different. The characters flow seamlessly as you have met them in the other instalments, so the book is quite a short read. Despite this, it's packed with so much ranging from inter-cultural and family relations, family, love, friendships and so much more. The plot and the storyline are well done and there are no filler chapters. The characters are well developed, and you can easily see the stark contrast between the twins. This and much more makes the story not just interesting, but also captivating.

There's nothing I didn't like in the book. Maybe a round of editing will do the book some good as I found a few errors. Apart from that I enjoyed reading the book and couldn't resist reading it in one sitting. The only recommendation I might have is for the author to write a fourth book on Emily Little, the other twin. That will be a really interesting premise and a great storyline, considering she's a party girl.

Therefore, I rate this book a 4 out of 4 stars. There is no reason not to give a full rating. I recommend the book to all contemporary romance lovers. Also, the book is for a mature audience because of the intimate scenes.
