Fifty Shades or Crossfire Series? Why?

Post by urica »

I know that it is a matter of preference, but I just want to find out readers' take on these and their reasons :)

Thank you. :)

I love the crossfire series!!! I think Day is a wonderful writer. Sometimes I feel like she is going to make me have a panic attack because I'm so immersed in her words. They have an extremely volatile relationship!!

Both books are great, but Christian Grey is more appealing to me than Gideon Cross.

Crossfire. I think the story line is more relatable and it is good for those who aren't completely sold
on S&M.
I think they are both good series but I like the way Sylvia Day writes. Also, as of right now, her series is still going...

I have read the first book of Fifty Shades to see what all the fuss was about. I found it boring and unreliable and didn't continue to the others books. Truth to be told, I usually don't read those kind of books. I think "50 shades of boredom" is a more appropriate name for the book.

I personally enjoy both series but if I had to pick just one I would have to go with Sylvia Day's Crossfire Series. The way that she writes her stories captivates you and makes you feel like a part of the story. Don't get me wrong E.L. James is a very talented writer but Sylvia Day is possibly one of my favorites.

Hey y'all! I have read both series and I just need to say....Crossfire series all the way! From book one page one I was hooked! I could not put the book down! It was one of those days where nothing got done all day and bed time was well past 2am! I just love how she pulls you in from the very start of the book! I was SO sad it was over and the books have made a round through all my friends and family! :D

I'm going to have to go with Crossfire mostly because I found that after a while I was just skimming over the erotic parts of 50 Shades so I could hurry up and get to the story. So I guess I would say I was not as captivated by the entire 50 Shades series as I was with the Crossfire series.

Although I did like both I think 50 Shades was just too over hyped....and now they are about to make a movie :|

I love both! I just think 50 shades is darker when it comes to the erotic parts which I admit is too much for me, but I still love it. Crossfire is lighter for me, easier to read but has its own dark revelations too!

I personally didn't think that 50 Shades was well written, although I enjoyed the whole series, I found it to be slightly repetitive. I haven't read crossfire so I can't compare them but I think I'll read it now!

I'm currently on book 3 of the Crossfire series. So much better written than FSoG. I think the sex was better as was the handling of the deeper issues.

Come on people Christian Grey has just got to be the best. I just love the way Anna and him grew together. One of the best stories ever
