Roseleen White is a proper and prim history professor, with an obsession of historic weapons. Until she found a weapon, one that made all the others pale in comparison. A thousand year old Scandinavian sword. One in perfect condition. Roseleen does everything she can to get it in her possession. But little does she know, the sword comes with some extra weight. A Viking warriors weight. With one caress of the hilt brings forth this Viking warrior named Thorn Blooddrinker, who is possesed with fulfilling her every desire. But this Thorn does not do this willingly, no this is a curse that was set upon him centuries ago. Throughout time, the conjuring of Thorn through his blade slowly dwindled. Until it was centuries until Roseleen brought him forth unknowngly. Not only is he captive of this woman, but he must also learn the ways of this new times. Together they learn about each other's worlds. Thorn taking her back to discover the barbarian ways, and Roseleen teaching him the ways of the new world. But more than anything Thorn wants to be free of this curse. However, the only way to free him is to banish him from her life forever, even though she loves him madly.

Reading the synopsis of this book really drew me in. I mean not only is it about a history professor obssessed with weapons, but about a real time barbarian come to show her how life then really was. Now that was something I had to read.

One thing that really drew my attention was the account of weaponry and accurate account of history brought into the book. Johanna Lindsey really did her research. However, the strong, undeniable, chemiatry between the two charaters really kept you wanting more. You could picture yourself there with all the detail.

As most romance books, comes the devistating part of the book that makes you feel the sadness, and wish it could be otherwise. Roseleen must banish Thorn from her life in order to free him from his curse. The one thing he wants more than her, and the only thing she can do to make him truly happy. But don't worry, it doesn't end there. Their love will remain Until Forever.

This novel is enticing, witty, sexy, and fully of adventure. A great read that you wont want to put down.
