Jonathan had the perfect life, being the quarterback for the Katy Tigers. That also meant having a beautiful girlfriend, a wonderful family, and a scholarship to play college football. Jonathan thought nothing could change his life or bring him down. That was, until the night of the accident. Jonathan struggled for years to come after the accident. He never looked at himself or life the same. Others even looked at him differently. Until he unexpectedly met Samantha and his entire world changed. Who knew one girl could change his life so easily? Jonathan was changing, for the better, and maybe his life could too.

Glenn Vo does a beautiful job writing Jonathan’s story; it was really inspiring because it showed that no matter what hardships he encountered, he always came back out on the other side. Jonathan, like everyone, had his obstacles and struggles, but he learned forgiveness and self-love, which are two very important lessons in life. His journey was really realistic and relatable, which is extremely important when appealing to the reader. It was helpful to be able to connect to the characters and how they were feeling throughout the novel as well.

One thing I would change about the novel was how brief the romantic moments were throughout the novel. There were also fewer moments than I would have thought or liked. I think if there would have been more on the relationship, the plot could have been even more interesting. I would have liked to see Jonathan and Samantha’s relationship develop more. I felt like a lot more could have happened with their relationship and I found myself hoping for more, even at the end. However, I understood why there weren’t as many moments, since the story is primarily about Jonathan’s journey with himself and the romance was a smaller aspect.

2612 Cherryhill Lane earned 4 out of 4 stars by having professional editing, amazing character development, and an amazing story overall. Glenn Vo does an amazing job of drawing the reader in and keeping them interested throughout the entirety of the novel. It was a novel that I couldn’t and didn’t want to put down. The story and journey of the characters flowed nicely throughout as well. It was an overall wonderful experience and I felt really connected to the characters.

2612 Cherryhill Lane is best suited for any age individual who enjoys an inspirational journey with some romance involved.
