Ten Thing We Shouldn't Have Done is written by Sarah Mlynowski and the main characters are April and Vi. It is a simple, girly book.
.
2 girls + 3 guys + 1 house - parents = 10 things April and her friends did that they (definitely, maybe, probably) shouldn't have.
If given the opportunity, what sixteen-year-old wouldn't jump at the chance to move in with a friend and live parent-free? Although maybe "opportunity" isn't the right word, since April had to tell her dad a tiny little untruth to make it happen (see no.1: "Lied to Our Parents"). But she and her housemate Vi are totally responsible and able to take care of themselves. How they ended up "Skipping School" (no.3), "Throwing a Crazy Party" (no.
, "Buying a Hot Tub" (no.4), and, um, "Harboring a Fugitive" (no.7) at all is kind of a mystery to them.
.
Ok to be honest it is not a well written book but in terms of the story i actually really enjoyed it! It is really fun and girly. I definitely think that girls will enjoy it. It's not amazing but it's also not bad. Pick this up if you don't know what to read now or if you just finished a really sad book *cough* Mockingjay *cough* Allegiant *cough* hehe....
If your a girl and you are looking for something fun to read definitely give it a try because the story is actually good. When I was reading it, I actually felt like all of those things were happening to me. It makes you put yourself in that situation which is scary if your parents found out...
Pick it up, I think you will probably enjoy it. It's just a simple, fun and girly story. I give it 4/5.
