This is lovely. It sounds like one of my favourites, or at least it will when I am done with it. Most of all, I want to know everything that unfolded between Sean and Cassidy.

You’re in for a treat then, if you get a chance to read it! It was a lovely story with unexpected twists from beginning to end. And I loved the beach setting! 🐚

I enjoy reading second-chance romance novels. This one sounds very promising. I'm not much into alternative realities but I am willing to give this a try. Great review!

I was instantly drawn to the cover, but the writing sounds equally impressive. I think it's interesting how the author used several perspectives to really engage the reader. I hope that the main character can work through her trauma and open her heart to love. Thanks for the lovely review.

I love romance novels! This book sounds like it has a little of everything a romance novel should have! I am very curious what happens toward the end that you made sound so enticing! Guess I will be checking this one out. Thanks for the great review!

I naturally love "love stories". From this review,I can see that this is a book well written. Emotional trauma and it's limitations on human connection,I'm definitely not a stranger to that. This has caught me.

I usually prefer old fashion love story rather than modern, because I find purity in it, and this was one of those. Thank you for a great review. All the best to the author

Each chapter is assigned to a specific character, allowing various chapters to be narrated through the eyes of Cassidy, Sean, or one of their associated grandparents. Some memories take the plot back to the 1940s, giving readers a taste of young love during World War II. These shifting perspectives were one of the aspects I enjoyed the most, but the twist near the end of the book was immensely delightful and enlightening!
I love it when authors do that. It gives the reader a much more complete and rounded perspective of the story. And WWII is a time period that has always intrigued me.
And I can't resist a good romance, honestly.
Thank you for your great review!

This book feels like it would be an interesting romance novel. I like the way the chapters are assigned to certain characters with many of them narrated through Cassidy's perspective. A traumatic memory from a devastating car accident, a trunk in the attic that holds long forgotten secrets, a summer romance add up to a delightful entertaining read. The surprising twist near the end of the story sounds intriguing. Thanks for the good review on this book.

I liked your review because it show more detail of this historical fiction novel. I don't know what the author wanted to show as love novel or romance novel. It give me feel like lighthouse movie.

Though I tend to be choosy when it comes to romance stories, the thing I always look for in a book is a well-developed plot with believable characters. Dealing with trauma is never easy, but I believe we are encouraged when presented with characters we can relate to, especially if their development is positive and their story meaningful.
Great review!
