This sounds like an inspiring and uplifting book, even with the trauma that leads to Marc going on a backpacking trip to find himself. The fact that it’s Judaism explored here alongside the more progressive issues rather than Christianity is refreshing and more appealing to me as a reader. I’ve seen different ways that Christians handle learning that someone they care for is transgender, but I haven’t had exposure to the reaction of people from other religions (agnostics and atheists excluded). So long as all topics involved are depicted accurately and sensitively, this book could be worth reading. Thank you for the helpful review.

I don't think I can relate to this story but I can imagine what it'll be for people going through the same thing that Marc Marci went through. I'll pass on this one. Thank you for your honest review.

Sounds very interesting to read about. I guess she felt a bit of releif once she realized who she is. I would love to give this book a try. Congrats on BOTD!!

The journey of marc has so much changes in his life. He decides to change his sexuality but is it really the right choice. From my point of view, it isn't. He isn't proud of whom he really is and chooses to be a woman.

As much as as this review portrays the piece as captivating, I'm not into books that promote certain sexual content. People who appreciate such, may eventually find it interesting.

I like the book cover of this book. Transgender books are not for everybody, but would be of interest to those who really need it.

This is a great story. I love that the story highlights important issues. Even though the book didn't get a four star rating, I still think this is a read worthy book.

It definitely sounds interesting, and I am trying to guess as much as I can what the philosophical question could be. Thanks for the review.

The title alone elicits a lot of questions and this story, for me teaches love of oneself, friendship and family support. The review did a great job on holding the reader in anticipation of what is that philosophical question that the author left unanswered. I am sure this will be a great read for readers looking for courage in unveiling their true selves.Congrats BOTD!

Marc Marci by Larry G. Goldsmith seems like an amazing book. I would love to read and follow the story of Marc's transition to Marci. If she was able to get love and family after the life changing decision she made. Congratulations on the BOTD.

Marc Marci by Larry G. Goldsmith is a book filled with romance and friendship. It explores themes of love, friendship, family, transgender and lesbianism. How family and friends support each other especially after a big decision is very important.
