Alfonso madrigals’ love for savannah Curtis remained undiluted even after several years of separation. He had never known what true love was until he met her. Midwinter Turns to Spring is a beautiful love story of Alfonso and savannah, brought together by a work of art. Though married, Alfonso couldnt stop himself from loving the artist, neither could he love another after she left. Savannah's father left her shortly before her eight birthday. she was so heartbroken that she felt no kid deserves to go through what she did. So when she saw Cristina crying in the park and Alfonso trying to console her, she knew it was time for her to relocate to a place where he could never find her. Twenty six year later, fate unites the two lovers, after Cassidy moves into the apartment where Savannah once lived, and after reading Savannah's journal made it her business to unite them, but unfortunately savannah lost her memory before meeting with Alfonso, who promised to take care of her and kept to his word as love finally wins.

The book Midwinter Turns to Spring by Maria Veloso is a romantic novel I found pleasure reading as it portrayed two strangers that fell in love in their twenties, and got separated for twenty six years only to re-discover their love. Alfonso never minced words about the way he felt about savannah and he was willing to make up for the lost time. Savannah amnesia could have pushed him away, but instead he loved her the more.

I loved the fact that Maria Veloso could link both the present and past in the story. Memories kept unfolding. Secrets were kept about Alfonso being the father of her son Brandon and I smiled along side Brandon as he was told who his father was. The suspense kept me on my toes until I read through the book. I also loved the idea of writing poems in the book.

I enjoyed reading the book and hold no negative thoughts about it.

I found no errors after reading and will rate it four out of four stars as it was well edited. I recommend the book for young men and women who are scared of falling in love.
