Review: The Cowboy Rwescues A Bride By Cora Seton

Post by Sally Balboa »

This novel was pretty much what I expected it to be. It had nothing more and nothing less. All the sex, the romance, and someone rescuing someone else. Blah, blah, blah... So I was not impressed with this novel, but taker into consideration that I usually read something more serious, and I received a Kindle edition of this from Librarything in exchange for a free and honest review. Even though I fully expected everything that happened to happen, I'm still interested in the next novel though, what can I say, I'm a sucker romantic intrigue.

The novel begins with Fila and we see just how delicate and fragile that the Taliban left her after she escaped. She lives with Ned someone who is highly smitten with her, but his father is dead set against it and wants her out of Chance Creek. That's how Ned and Fila find themselves up in the family's rustic cabin surrounded by an unhealthy amount of snow. In that setting the two will fight for their lives against others and the elements.

A predictable plot line and a very likely ending.

I absolutely adore the character Fila, she's a woman's woman. She was my favorite part of the entire novel, and was the main reason that I didn't flat out stop reading and the reason this review has 3 stars.
