Love love love this book! I gave the book a 4 out of 4 because it was Incredibly steamy and Very passionate. The author has an ability to completely engage you in her storytelling. The love triangle was one of my favorite parts of this book. They have explosive chemistry. It was the best back and forth of a love triangle I’ve ever seen. I feel the author used a lot of impressive language. I loved the back and forth of the point of view. It made me feel as I could see the entire story through every person’s sight. I was completely engaged in zias life the entire book. Zia was an incredibly written woman. She came off the page in front of me. I felt every emotion she was talking about and loved both men with her. Both Bryce and Baxter were very well rounded characters. Bryce can come off as overly subdued and uninteresting but I feel his love for zia shine through the entire book. Baxter is very hot and heavy from the beginning which I believe is why zia falls for him. I can not say I love the choice to make him overly obsessed with zia at the start. I feel like the storyline could have built a little slower between them. The murder mystery storyline is kind of out of my comfort zone as I only read romance books primarily but I feel this might have been the right choice to start with as there is not very graphic scenes. I’m a little disappointed in the ending as I feel it was a little bit abbreviated. I think it could have been more drawn out and detailed. This is a must read if you love steamy scenes or mysteries.
