Unbeloved-Madeline Sheehan Review!!!

*A few spoilers inside*

I read this book within two hours yesterday in my school's library and I only have to say great things about it. :P

From the 'Undeniable series' of Madeline Sheehan, Unbeloved was actually the only one that hooked me from the beginning til the end and even made me cry like a baby when reading some parts.

It's the story of an unfortunate woman who got pregnant at age 15, and lived for a while with a man that never loved her, then fell in love with a MC member called Jase, who was married and who even though 'sort' of love her, wasn't willing enough to leave his wife. Later we see that another member of the same MC, named Hawk, fell in love with her (heroine's name is Dorothy), and did everything in his power to make her his and make her forget about Jase who had (unconsciously) degraded her into being a worker slash sweet butt in the MC, and having an affair with him. Hawk went as far as to deliberately impregnate Dorothy so she would be his and forget about Jase.
Later we see that Jase's wife upon learning about his affair with Dorothy, gets a little crazy and shoots a pregnant Dorothy in a MC party. Jase nearly killed himself cause of the guilt, the woman went to prison, and Hawk when learning what happened was so furious he almost killed Jase.
Years later, after Dorothy recovered from the trauma, with her child safely born, we see Hawk visiting often his son (Christofer), and trying to create one more 'link' between him and Dorothy. But Dorothy is too hollow after the guilt and the drama in her life. She feels terrible for going between two married people, she feels like a whore and she also feels betrayed.
Years pass and when Hawk almost dies cause of some mafia issues, Dorothy realizes that she's been in love with Hawk ever since those two begun their affair. She realized that she had finally found her prince, and feels terrible for pushing away the only man who was ever willing to give everything up for her.
In the end, when both Hawk and Dee are like in their 50s, we see them reuniting and being finally together with their family. Jase also gets forgiven by his wife and family but isn't back together with his wife.

It's an amazing story, very intense and heartbreaking and it's the story about a heroine who's character and life choices we don't see often in romance books.

It's a classic solid 5 stars book for me <3
