2612 Cherryhill Lane by Glenn Vo is a story about Jonathan McCalister and how one decision changed his whole life. Jonathan had everything. A loving family, a girlfriend, and a State Championship Trophy for his high school football team. That is until the night everything changed. Jonathan was in a car accident that took his legs and his little sister's life. Years later he meets Samantha Reid. She was hired to be his caretaker, but they fall in love instead. Jonathan learns to forgive himself and heal with Samantha by his side.

I really enjoyed 2612 Cherryhill Lane. Not only does it have a lesson about texting and driving, but it also helps with learning forgiveness. I find Jonathan's story inspiring. I also love his relationship with Samantha. They create a special bond and it's amazing how much she supports him. He also does a lot to help spread awareness about the consequences of texting while driving. He tells his story for his little sister Gabby, and himself. Jonathan shows a lot of compassion, too. He joins Samantha in a 5K race to raise awareness for a children's hospital. He surprises Samantha with the amount of compassion he shows the kids that are racing.

One negative thing about it is the obstacles he had to go through. From the car crash to bullies to the blame he put on himself for losing his sister. But thankfully, Samantha helps him see that everything that happens, happens for a reason. Another negative thing is Dean Pilling. He is not a fan of Jonathan's from the start. He is jealous of Jonathan's relationship with Samantha and doesn't try to hide it. In fact, he does research on Jonathan and basically outs him in front of his friends. He forces Jonathan to share his story after revealing how Jonathan lost his legs to a handful of people. But after some time, Jonathan forgives him.

After reading Jonathan's story, I give 2612 Cherryhill Lane a rating of four out of four stars. It is a huge inspiration and has been exceptionally well-edited.

This book is filled with lessons, laughter, romance, heartbreak, warmth, and adventure. It shows that life is not promised and to make the most out of every day. Live each day as if it is your last.
If you are a fan of books like this one, then this is for you.
