Sarah was the first author I've ever encountered in the topic of love, something realistic and simple. Jane Austen was way before her time. I feel that all of her novels were showing the rawness and pain that comes with love in a regent society.

Cool names.
Nora Roberts has always been a favourite of mine.
I have read quite a number of Maya Banks noveks and they are really interesting.
I suppose I just find her writing could use a bit more refining, or maybe more editing, particularly the dialogues -too many words when a few succinct ones will do.
Do you know what I mean?

Personally, my favorite type of romance features quirky characters and rich banter these days I have a couple of ‘go to’s’:
Sherrylin Kenyon for hot Paranormal and Mindy Klasky for more light rom-com romps - her librarian-turned-witch Jane Madison is probably my favorite character of all time!
Julia Quinn for lighthearted historical.
Tessa Dare for steamy historical (I actually started reading Tessa Dare because a character in another book was reading her and I was curious).
Rich Amooi for well rounded characters and stories that have ‘life lessons’ which generally make you feel good.
There’s nothing in the world like a great book
