Oh my goodness I cannot say enough amazing things about this book! Not only is it sexy and steamy but it will hit you in all the feels! This book is about a single mom (Shelby) escaping an abusive ex. She experiences ptsd and has written off men until she meets detective Moretti. If you like hero/protector vibes from your book boyfriends I strongly encourage you to read this book!

Does have some trigger warnings: Abuse (physical, mental & sexual). Shelby works in a shelter for abused women & children.

As someone who was in an abusive marriage and still has PTSD this book didn't trigger me, it made me so happy to read about another woman escaping and finding love and protection!
