After giving her virginity at the age of fourteen for a cash prize in high school, Delphine was humiliated by the boy she had slept with when he spilt everything to the whole school and even uploaded her naked picture for all to see on WhatsApp. Being disowned by her parents, she decides to become a prostitute, a high-class sex worker who charges very high for her body.

Alex is a physiotherapist who invested all his time in caring for his patients. Alex did his best when an eight-year-old Darcy had COVID-19 in the hospital. He stayed day and night talking to the child hoping for improvement and for her to get better. When Darcy never recovered but died, it affected him deeply. His life changed after his birthday party as he fell in love with Dee, the physiotherapist sent to the hospital.

Brass by Peter Moore is an erotic romance nonfiction novel. It ranges from romance, betrayal, and true love. There are a lot of things to admire about this book. First of all, the plot development of this novel is extraordinary. At first, I was trying to figure out if Peter Moore was writing two different ideas, but at last, it made sense when Peter developed his plot further by linking the characters. Also, I equally admire the character development of this novel. The characters were eclectic, and each character had a unique personality to remember them. Delphine is a special character as she chose to let go of her past life for the person she truly loves and how she stood to take justice when she was raped. Another character I took an interest in is Lizzie, as she proved to be a good friend even after she discovered Delphine's past life. I learned things from this novel, particularly from the emotional aspect of this novel. I understood why it is important to never make assumptions about things without trying to find out the reasons behind them. For example, Delphine ceased her relationship just because of what she only assumed. Furthermore, the author was able to build a lot of suspense which made me want to find out what comes next. Honestly, the book is well written, as each chapter comes with an unexpected mystery, like what transpired between Delphine and Darius in Portugal. I also learn that disability does not imply that a person is useless, just as in the case of Alex. Generally speaking, the author’s style of writing is totally beautiful.

The only thing I dislike about this novel is the tragic ending, as it ended up leaving many unanswered questions. I don't think the author did well keeping such important information from his readers. Also, I noticed errors in this novel at some point. Apart from that, this book is a masterpiece. Therefore I rate it 3 out of 4 stars.

I will be recommending this book to anyone who likes erotic romance as this novel contains erotic and pornographic scenes. I also recommend this book to people who like nonfiction romance.

Peter most certainly did an amazing job with this book. I read a review of one of his other books, and I can say that he has good writing skills. I would like to read this book.
