Love All the Way by Aurora Carafa is in the romance genre. It focuses on the LGBTQ community and life as it happens in general. Other themes are love, loss and grief, and development. The base is life through love, friendships, and the messy things that happen. It is in the many messy things that the author points out how as human beings, we tend to search for perfection or exact similarities in things and people.

Melanie Foster is a 20-year-old who lives in a hotel residential, is street smart, and is quite brave. She meets Allen Shandi in the most unusual way; on her way home, she sees two guys having an argument of some sort. One is crouching in fear while the other is bending over with a mad face. Instantly, Mel's heart bleeds out to the one in fear, and takes the initiative to rescue him. The crouching one happens to be Allen and that is how love is born. As a gay man, people( including police officers) always seem to pick on Allen. As a thank you, Allen takes Mel out and later gives her a room in his house alongside a job. Life becomes a bliss to Mel but all these tumble down the moment she's informed of Allen's ALS. Allen is the first love of her life and now this? What will happen to the two? The story unfolds page by page.

The read is amazing in more than one way. First, a salute to Aurora Carafa for giving forth a story with the focal point on the LGBTQ community, which is seen as the minor. It is so brave to share that considering that many countries admonish homosexuality. The delivery of it is carefully yet blatantly done. Secondly, the book is fast-paced which is easier for some readers like me. I like to keep guessing but I enjoyed this one, especially because of the pace at which information and details unravel. This said, Love All the Way is short and sweet as well as intriguing. Finally, there is so much humor, especially in the exact places where the relief is needed.

Love all the way gets a 4 out of 4 stars because I enjoyed every bit of it. The book is perfectly and exceptionally edited as I found neither grammatical nor spelling errors when reading. Generally, I found nothing to dislike about the book.

I recommend the read to all lovers of romance and LGBTQ-related books and stuff. It is however more suitable for young adults as it contains a bit of mature content.
