Review of Midwinter Turns to Spring
Midwinter turns to spring is written by Maria Veloso. The journey of Suzannah Curtis and Alfonso Madrigal in finding one another, understanding the deeper meaning of true love, and attempting to hold onto love despite all the difficulties they have encountered are all depicted in this lovely book by Maria Veloso. They experienced suffering and loss, but they ultimately found true love and that is what I adore most about this novel. Alfonso Madrigal is described as a wonderfully gorgeous gentleman who fled his birthplace and never looked back after having a difficult childhood.
This book features six main characters that span several generations of the same family, and I've seen that readers who like romance stories with depth and insightful relationship analysis would really enjoy it. Suzannah Curtis is an art authentication server who is drawn to Alfonso Madrigal for no apparent reason, therefore her interest extends beyond the image. Suzannah Curtis's use of painting as a therapeutic tool for the kids and her vision of starting a school where emotionally scarred kids could learn to paint spoke to me.
Suzannah Curtis is attracted with a flamenco performer but is unable to marry him because of his marital status and the fact that she is already engaged. However, it is claimed that she has an affair with the performer, which results in her becoming pregnant. The reader is introduced to the key characters and will also properly grasp how the two love birds met, whereas Part One was merely an introduction and a hint of character development.
Part two of this well-edited book, which is one of my favorites, deals with Suzannah's later years, when she was recuperating from severe memory aphasia that she suffered as a result of a vehicle accident. I give this book a perfect 5 out of 5 stars because there is nothing about it that I don't like. I'm happy with everything, and I especially like how this book connects to fine art. This book has a richness of emotions, such as compassion and happiness, which were evident in the relationships between the characters. I heartily recommend it.
According to what I have read, this book is exceptionally well edited and does not warrant a lower rating at all. Because there were no mistakes, I was a happy reader and plan to read the book again. Even the title is wonderful, and I enjoy the flow and tempo of the book. I think anyone who believes in love, wants contentment for others, and is okay with not finding it for themselves should read this book. This includes romance book lovers.
