If you are looking for a book that you can't put down, Tumbleweeds, by Leila Meacham, is the book for you! She is the author of Roses, a New York Times Bestseller, and has once again brought us a story that we can't let go.
The setting is Texas, and it begins in the 1980s, although Meacham follows the characters all the way into the early 2000s.

3 friends, Trey Don, John, and Cathy, meet and build relationships with one another when they are 11 years old. As they enter high school and then young adulthood, they have many experiences together and figure out the balance of their relationships. Trouble does not stay far away as Trey Don and John hope to play football for Miami during their college years. Challenges are brought their way and soon the characters are forced to make decisions that affect each others' lives directly. What sounds like a typical teenage story is altered by murder, betrayal, and unforgivable actions that span over several decades. Even after you have finished and laid the book to rest, their story will implant itself into your mind and follow you for days and weeks to come. This story is a must read!
