Thank you for your informational review. I'm glad you liked it so much. I also felt like it was in a conversational dialogue. Also, from the sample, I got confused from one part to the next with what he was talking about. I hope many will enjoy it like you did, but I am going to pass on it. Glad that it was edited so well.

Thank you for your interesting review on "The Cackling of the Crows" by Neal Sellers. Since I do not like hip hop, I will not be putting this on my shelf or reading this book. Still congratulations to the author for BOTD.

The style of hip-hop can be perceived throughout the novel. Details such as referencing favorite artists and the meaning of the genre to hip-hop history and culture make the story more authentic and joyful among readers who may remember that time.

Q, who is enchanting but often marred by his flaws, is a complex main character. The women who weave through the storyline, each of them possessing their own conundrums, establish a multi-layered narrative.Congrats on #BOTD!

Crows are usually associated with bad omens or doom but in the book, it is ties in with the Que's life and romance. While the book is intriguing, I think I will skip it for now. Thank you for your review!

I was all set to read this book from your review until you got to the part about the story going off in tangents and needing to backtrack to figure it out.I've just finished another book with that same issue and it really did affect my enjoyment.

Could there be an uncanny tie between Crows and negative events? They are never seen around happy events. I love books with an awesome sense of humor and from the sampled review, The Cackling of the Crows" by Neal Sellers has a great sense of humor.

"The Cackling of the Crows" by Neal Sellers revolves around Gregory Que, who is wondering what the cackling of the crows meant , everytime he heard them. The author weaved themes of self-discovery, introspection and psychology in this book.

The reviewer states that the lead character in "The Cackling of the Crows" by Neal Sellers, Que, is charming, loving and social. Que proceeds to tell his story most of which revolves around four different women. Of course the titular crows 🐦⬛ keep appearing throughout the important moments in the story.
The reviewer seems to state that the story had some difficulty with transitions and too many character shifts which lead me to believe that a five star rating might be a little high. The problems mentioned by the reviewer might deserve a rewrite or at least a strong editor.
If you're going through hell, keep going.

I wonder how crows can be supernatural and mysterious creatures. Hindu religious texts like the Ramayana and the Bhagwat Purana assert that crows have the capability to see into the future.
Life is a play where we are the actors and the audience, We laugh and cry, love and hate, create and destroy,
We seek to know ourselves and others, to belong and to be free, We accept what we can and change what we must.
