OUT OF THE DARKNESS (THE PRESCOTT SERIES Book 1) (Kindle Edition)
I found it to be very enjoyable and kept my interest. There are a few editing errors, but as independent publishing has come about, I have become able to over look the errors. For me, they did not detract from the story. The sexual tension some found object-able was what drove the story, and in a time of few women, hard life, and danger, I found this believable. A man with a small child, isolated on a farm, needs help desperately to keep his daughter with him, who finds a wounded woman on the trail. He is lonely and sexual tension on both sides begins. Life then was not as it is today with cities within easy reach and other people just next door. Neighbors were miles away, as well the towns hours away. Plot has twists and turns, lots of action, and romance.
