Cassie Ellis has had a rude awakening when it comes to finding love. She fell for a man and got married, only to find that she had walked into an abusive relationship. She has been burned and is scared to love again. Trying to recover from her husband’s death, Cassie opens up a dance studio and teaches dancing to the local children. In those classes she has two adorable girls whose mother has passed away, their father, Noah Mackie is taking one day at a time trying to figure things out and keep a roof over their heads. Noah is commissioned to complete Cassie’s dream dance studio in her basement. While teaching his children to dance, and while building her studio romance begins to blossom between the two. However, the walls that Cassie has put up may drive Noah away. I love this story and the characters. I haven’t read the other books by this author, but didn’t feel that I missed anything in the story line or with the characters. This was a good clean read.
