Love All the Way by Aurora Carafe is a heartwarming story about the trials of love and friendship that take place in the heart of New York City. The book talks about how genuine and sincere a person's love can be, despite how difficult it can be to love someone. Aurora showed the difficulty of having feelings you know can never be reciprocated equally.

Allen Shandi and Mel Foster met each other in the most unusual manner and have stuck with each other since they met. Their friendship was one to be envious of because it surpassed just being in love. They were perfect for each other except for the fact that Allen was gay, but that didn't stop Mel from being there for him, loving him with everything she had, and going the extra mile for him. He may not have loved her the way she wanted, but he did love her in every other way possible, willing to go to any length to always put a smile on her face. To find out more about this unusual love, you should read this book.

I loved how the book focused on how beautiful the bond between friendship and love could be, even with total strangers you just met. It showed that you can still meet people with genuine intentions towards you, not just for their selfish reasons and what they stand to gain from you. The fact that Mel was with Allen, even though it hurt her the most, spoke a lot about how love goes beyond just having romantic feelings for someone and how selfless love can be. It showed how little acts of kindness could put a smile on their faces and make them happier than they previously were.

Aurora wasn't the one to mince words as she talked about the troubles gay men and women had to face due to their sexuality back in the day. She showed their struggles of being accepted for who they were and how difficult it was for their love to be accepted by all. Sadly, this can still be traced back even to the 21st century that we are currently in.

I loved how supportive every friend of Allen was to him all through his sick moments. He never felt alone. Rather, he was surrounded by as much love as a person could ask for in his lifetime. It was sad watching him being slowly taken away from them, but they still stood by his side, showing their solidarity and love in the simplest form. The author portrayed the reality of people living with a loved one who has a terminal disease and is on a countdown to death. It showed how agonizing it is to put up a strong face while wailing bitterly in private for your loved one. The fact that Mel was ready to go to war for her friends at the slightest disrespect to them was something I truly admired. She would die for them if that were an option. I loved how open-minded she was through it all.

Honestly, I didn't dislike anything about this book. Hence, I am rating it 5 out of 5 stars. It was perfect in its own way. I enjoyed how the characters were developed and how the book wasn't rushed, keeping me glued till I was done reading it. It is wise to mention that I may have shed a tear or more as the book got more intense.

I encountered a few errors while reading it, so I would say that the book was professionally edited. I will strongly suggest that people struggling with their sexual identity or people who are afraid to be open about their sexuality should read this book and be encouraged because you never know where love could come from. From this book, you will learn that it is totally okay to be with whoever brings you the most happiness and love, despite their gender. In addition to all this, this book contains a lot of profanity and sexual content, so I am recommending it to a mature audience.

Love is a beautiful thing. Friendship is something that should be honoured and held sacred. It is rare to find friends that are loyal and truly understand what it means to be a friend. Hopefully some day we will all get this unique connection with someone.

Love is really difficult I can assure you. All you can do is to love and hope to loved in return. Most times you still find out that it is never what you expect. This is a nice review and contain the best description of the book.

Having great friends is a treasure and there's nothing greater than being loved genuinely. This sounds like a great book that everyone will love to read. I'll definitely be adding it to my bookshelf.

Well articulated review, starting with the introduction, a detailed summary of the book, the positives are quite catching, I would to read this book but that would be after editing the errors.

I believe in love at first site and the fact that an individual is straight or not doesn’t have any impact. I believe that this is just a matter of preference.

Their friendship is really something I adored because I believe that most friendship start of in awkward ways which we may not even believe and I enjoyed reading this review.

Friendship is nice when it is reciprocated. I like that Allen friends were supportive even when he was sick, that shows true friendship. The clarity of your review is commendable.
