Melanie was walking towards her apartment, feeling greasy, sweaty, and tired. But before she entered her apartment, she heard strange voices breaking through the night's silence. Melanie walked into the darkness. There, she saw a beast-like man physically assaulting another man figure who appeared to be slightly weak. Melanie has never been the kind of person to back down easily, even at a young age. With keys dangling from her knuckles, she took the huge man down with one lucky punch, and in a mad flurry, she took the attacked man by the hand and fled with him to her apartment. As Melanie tended to Allen's injuries, they both felt emotions that not even they could explain. And this marked the beginning of their journey through love, happiness, and sometimes heartbreaking moments that demanded great physical and emotional sacrifices.

I had no idea this book would be so engaging when I started reading it. Love All the Way is a page-turner. Aurora Carafa has created the most realistic and vivid descriptions to transport you back to the 1970s. Here, you picture dark streets where criminals lurk. I prayed the man abusing Allen wouldn't turn his vicious rage on Melanie. The plot begins in complete suspense, capturing your attention from the very first page, and you are afterwards left reeling at the revelation of the events as they unfold.

When the author, brings up sensitive social issues like homophobia, she does so in a way that isn't upsetting to the reader. She excelled at what she did best. In addition, she has a unique way of bringing to life in the minds of current readers those memories of the 1970s love language. It is undoubtedly clear that she conducted extensive research to come up with this fascinating read.

I found Love All the Way a fun read that fascinates and, at the same time, educates the reader. It is impossible not to feel the undying voice that permeates the pages, urging the reader to sacrifice for those they love. Besides, maintaining positive relationships requires selfless sacrifices. The author employed proffesional editing before this book was published since I encountered just one error.

Due to all the positive reasons above, it would be rude of me to deny Love All the Way the maximum possible rating of five out of five stars. If you are a romance genre fan searching for a read to take you off the grid with an engaging storyline, look no further!
