The characters in this novel seem very interesting. Troubled teenagers who ended up hanging out with the wrong people, one way or another. Unfortunately, the premise of this book does not appeal to me. I will take your word of caution regarding difficult topics and think twice before reading this book.

This book sounds interesting. I like reading coming-of-age books and I like the many themes that are sprinkled throughout the book. The teenage years are a very difficult period and Rainer seems like the perfect place to help teenagers find themselves.

Wow. This sounds pretty different from the real camps for troubled teens out there. That must be one explosive combination.
It's a fascinating premise and the differences between the characters must make for a compelling execution.
Great review!

I don't think the cover page can say much about the information in this book. Congratulations to the author on winning BOTD.

Most people make mistakes not because they want to, but because of the toxic environments they have been in. I already liked this book from the review because it features the transformation of teenagers who have psychological problems. I really want to know if they change and get accepted back into society.

Honestly speaking, the writer's style of narration and story progression captivated me. The feelings and life versions depicted in the read makes for an intense read, therefore I agree with your warning in the review. Thanks for the review, I find it well compiled in what to expect of Unsound.

I find myself more interested in knowing what the schools administers and if it is of any true help to these kids. The skill and patience it requires to bring gold out of kids must not be taken for granted.

This book sounds perfect with the drama and romance. There is also a lot to learn from these characters. I can't wait to read it. Thanks for the free book.

Rehabilitation centers like Rainier should be available in every country, as many young teenagers struggle and suffer from the traumas of their dark past in their daily lives, and the availability of such centers would help reclaim their lives. I liked the book and look forward to reading it and seeing how Holly and other young teens' lives were reclaimed at Rainier boarding school.

I can tell that the characters in this book are well developed. They all have goals, and I believe they will work hard to achieve them. However, because it's a romance, I doubt I'd be interested.

Well done on this review. Rainier school seems like an wholesome school with room for students to heal and thrive, form bonds and friendship. Coming of age can be a challenge for some young ones, I believe a book like this can inspire young adults.

In "Unsound" by Ash Finley the plot takes place at Rainier boarding school. Unlike other boarding schools, this one is attended by troubled youth, where healing is achieved by facing the truth. The book is exceptionally well edited.

This sounds like a wonderful book for young women as they come of age. Unfortunately, I'm not one of them, so I'll take a pass. But I have a sneaky suspicion that those in the right audience for this book will love it! Congrats to the author on her achievement.

This is a superb review! I have sampled this book, and I found it highly topical for the coming-of-age audience. Sadly, I am three decades past that age, and the rehab issues of juvenile delinquents are too emotionally challenging and serious read for me to enjoy this book.
