Even though I'm not a young adult myself, I adore coming-of-age stories. With troubled adolescents struggling to overcome their problems, the setting is engaging. How easily is the dread of vulnerability recognized? I'm sure I'll like this book.

Unsound is a tale of rebellious teens who need help to overcome their emotional trauma, drug addiction and physical pain. The story is told from the perspectives of more than one character. Hopefully, they all end up living wholesome lives. Thanks for your review.

The setting is intriguing, troubled youths having to overcome their issues. Adolescence is a difficult period: the teenagers are no longer kids, still they are not yet adults but they are already overwhelmed with all those adult problems they have little skills to deal with. Nice book.

Rainer seems to me to be a symbolic sample of healing. To heal, one must face the truth and not run from it. Thank you for this review.

Your recommendation of the book to a young adult audience who enjoys relationship-focused stories is spot on. The flawed yet relatable characters will likely resonate with readers, but it's important to note the caution about profanity and heavy topics. It's always good to be mindful of potential triggers before diving into a story.

The themes featured is this book are what I'm always looking for in a book. For every flaw in character, we can see what needs to be improved. I enjoy reading slice-of-life story in a coming-of-age book. This is a must-read for teens who can relate to the characters' struggles and improvement at Rainier. Congratulations on the BOTD.

I'd love for each of the characters to find their healing. Going through life with being healed as a human being is just bad. I believe readers will find the book interesting. Congratulations on being the Book of the Day.

The setting of this book, in a boarding school for trouble young people, is unique and I think that is the book's main attraction. This sounds like an interesting book to read. Well done on the review.

This seems like an intriguing story about Rainier: a boarding school for troubled teens. It's great to hear of the four main characters who each face their own struggles, but am sure also find friendship. You have written your review wonderfully 😊 Congrats to the author on BOTD!

The exploration of the transition from friendship to romance is such an important aspect of coming-of-age stories, and it sounds like the author handled it skillfully. I appreciate the alternating perspectives, as it allows readers to delve into the characters' minds and understand their struggles with vulnerability.
