You're right about it being hard enough to be a teen with all those natural ‘hardships'. But this group have trauma on top of those; that's super-tough! This book may well benefit all youth, even those going through a relatively normal life.

When a person has neuropsychosis, their only option is to be institutionalized and prohibited from interacting with other people. Their relatives are likewise troubled by this health issue. I am awed by your thorough review. Congrats on taking home the BOTD!

Even though I'm not a young adult myself, I adore coming-of-age stories. With troubled adolescents struggling to overcome their problems, the setting is engaging. How easily is the dread of vulnerability recognized? I'm sure I'll like this book.

First of all, I am excited on knowing this book was thoroughly edited. This prepared the ground for readers to comprehend with ease the issues addressed in this book. I like that this book covers some of the contemporary problems facing youths of these days.

I am fascinated by how the "drug-addled, societal misfits" that the protagonist would meet in a remote location in Washington State would help the protagonist be themselves again.
Congratulations to the author for BOTD!
