Stolid is an interesting book that follows the life of a gay man. It walks through his past and present relationships, and his adventures. It also shows the struggles that he had to face. Aaron D. Key did an amazing job of portraying the issues that the main character struggles with. The pain and happiness that people experience are huge themes in this book. There are also intricate plot twists. Many deep themes are discussed and it gives the reader more feelings and emotions toward real-life situations and struggles that people face in their daily lives, while also following the story of one character. While the story is from the point of view of one character, the stories of other characters are also shown through description and dialogue. This book also shows how people go about certain things, and how people can hurt or heal each other.

This book did an amazing job with descriptions. The way places are described helps the reader experience the places alongside the characters. The seasons and temperatures are also explained in great detail. Emotions are deep in this story and the themes are well-covered and well-written in this story. Everything is covered and no details are left out. The backstories of the characters are well explained and it explains how the characters feel about their past. The aura that each character gives off is also developed throughout the book and is well-portrayed.

There were no negative points in this story. Every issue the character faced was fully described and no detail was left out. Every character was fully explained. This story is highly engaging. Some scenes are very abstract and reflect human emotions, which are also very abstract. The way things are explained is very beautiful and it makes the story better.

I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. This story was beautiful and intricate. It gives the readers strong emotions and the sadness in this story is heart-wrenching. The character's pain and feelings seem almost real.

I would recommend this book to anyone who has struggled with a relationship or to anyone in the LGBTQ+ community who has struggled due to their sexuality. This book walks through past and current relationships, while also portraying the struggles and feelings that come from them. It also covers several other deep topics, for anyone who is interested in that. This book could also be enjoyed by anyone interested in how people can hurt and heal each other.
