See a Witch About a Curse by Loen Hussain

See a Witch About a Curse by Loen Hussain is a brilliant first book in this series. It starts with a convenience store worker Azalea, who has a secret. Azalea is a socially awkward, anxious young woman who works the graveyard shift, of course. This young witch meets a guy one morning just before heading home from her shift. That gorgeous man, Bruce, has someone close to him that sounds seriously ill. Azalea, an alpha witch, has an overwhelming urge to help him, using flowers and herbs from her fantastic garden. Bruce is just one in a pack of werewolves. See a Witch About a Curse unfolds with Azalea tentatively welcomed to aid Bruce’s sick pack-mate. When arriving at an enormous mansion, she finds a pack of four male werewolves. Read along to find out how Azalea copes with this awkward, frightening situation. Does she help the pack with their complex situation, or do they prove that witches and werewolves don’t mix once and for all?

This is a great book with an engaging storyline. This gripping, fictional tale was so relatable in places I could not put it down. I am stoked about the rest of the series! Azalea is a complex character. I loved seeing the many layers unfold. She is a caring, compassionate woman hiding from her kind.

The narratives of the story are captivating and kept me turning pages. I did not find any part of the book I did not like. It was competently edited. This book was well-written from beginning to end. The plot was spellbinding along with rounded, complete characters. I recommend this book to any adult who enjoys supernatural beings and magic. I do suggest an adult because of the profanity along with the sexual aspects. I give this book 5 out of 5 stars. It was exceptionally enjoyable, and I am excited to see what happens in the next book.
