My favorite part of this book was the fast pacing. The book is quite short, just over a hundred pages, and I was easily able to finish it all in one setting. The pages seemed to fly by. I also liked how Sparrow wrapped up most everything but left enough of an opening to potentially write a sequel.

There was not much in the way of side plots, but the main story about Betty and her marriage problems was fascinating. She is a woman who wants to feel loved again, and her husband doesn't seem to understand that. I think it gave her a strong motive, and her actions made sense throughout the book. Even thinking about cheating on your spouse is typically frowned upon, but Sparrow was able to make Betty's thoughts and actions convincing.

I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. I thought the characters and plot were fantastic. I might have liked a bit more detail at points, but that minor dislike is far outweighed by all the parts I did like. I also only noticed a few errors throughout the book. I believe that this book was professionally edited. I can see no reason not to give this book full marks.

I believe that readers who are looking for a book that focuses on a woman who feels alone in her marriage would enjoy this book. It does contain some strong language, but there is no explicit content. This is the perfect book for a rainy afternoon and one that you won't want to put down.

Betty married Matt, her high school boyfriend, with the intention of settling their finances before starting a family. Betty, meanwhile, thinks Matt is avoiding her because he is preoccupied with his work. She starts to feel lonely and wonder if he still loves her. The pair goes to a housewarming celebration that John, one of their common acquaintances, holds with his wife. When Betty starts to feel a little queasy, John brings her to the couch. Betty asks him to stay, and John gives her a kiss in response. Will the two's chemistry remain passionate? Matt might find out. The quick pace of this novel was one of my favorites.

One of the reasons for marriage is companionship. Love definitely doesn't pay bills but spouses should make time for each other.

It's my personal thinking marriage is based on trust, respect and mature understanding. I don't think is a cheating as an option, I want to know how to Betty feel when she cheat on her husband. this can be a possible when you are alone in marriage life and you have to cheat on your husband. I want to know how that author justify her thoughts and what she did.
