i agree. Erotica should be distinctly placed as such. So the reader knows exactly what they are in for

I prefer an erotica with a good romantic plot line. It's hard to come by because most erotica's are more focused on the steamy sex scenes rather than character development. However a cute romance isn't unwanted. I just keep waiting the whole time for something to happen; whether its an intense kissing scene or a steamy sex scene.

A blend of erotica and romance is the best.

Romance. I feel like erotica gets too invested in the lust aspect of love and loses out on key aspects of the characters that can be explored in romance novels.

Romance wins by a large shot , but if its romance combined with erotica thats awesome , i just dont like it when its just series of sexual encounters with different individuals and then bam two of them suddenly profess their love to each other and happy ending .No i enjoy a steamy , erotic story of love and intimacy .

I'd prefer a mixture of both. Some erotica and romance put together always works for me.

I prefer romance to erotica especially historical romance. More often than not it is accompanied by a good story line. What more could I want.

I prefer an adorable one with few sec scenes. I would not mind an erotica with a well-written plot.

I prefer erotica, something about the raw animalistic passion draws me in and takes my to a whole other place.

I think an adorable romance is what I prefer more. Erotica just does not appeal to me.

Romance always. Nothing beats a beautifully written love story. Though I must admit when an erotic novel is written well it can be just as amazing. My issue is that a lot of the erotic novels out there sex fills the pages and the authors forget to actually give you the story. I mean tell me why these people are so into each other, show me how they connected before we see them have wild sex. As such romance will forever have a special place in my heart.

Romance novel is need for a single who lonely without his or her mate, but erotic novel is need for a couple in cold relationship, or the relationship not harmony, by erotic novel is matched for the treatment and change the cold mood in relationship.

Steamy erotic novel is my preference. Because it a genre that can involve multiple subgenres under it I love steamy ones

I enjoy a steamy erotic novel more than anything, but, I find myself preferring the sweet romance novel lately.
