Review of Snowed In with my Brother's Best Friend
Most of the time, when we look for love, we have expectations of what our love life should be like, and when we finally find what we've always wanted, we should learn to control our emotions and recognize that ideals and assumptions are not the best options. Snowed In With My Brother's Best Friend: An Opposites Attract and a Second Chance Romance is a book that centers around two lovers, Amelia and Alex.
There was an unexpected snowstorm, and Amelia Sinclair called for help. Alex was the closest officer; he rescued her and took her to his apartment because it was the nearest and safest. Alex, now an officer, was her ex-boyfriend, who left her three years ago after they had an argument. While in his apartment, they got into an argument, and she tried to leave because she was angry that, after these years, he had never tried to reach out to her. She saw that the weather was too bad, and while she waited, they talked about a lot of things unknown to them, which you would learn from reading Stefanie Hart's book.
I found this book to be engaging, with a straightforward plot that maintained its genre as a romance. The book was short, with very few characters that, in my opinion, were well developed. The book's pacing was also perfect, as events unfolded in a very organized manner, and the descriptive style of the author's writing also made this book a success. The characters' emotions are also very relatable, and I liked Caleb's role in this book. I also appreciate that Alex went ahead and took therapy sessions, which added up to make the book enjoyable and enlightening.
I was generally not disappointed by any aspect of this book, and considering my likes above, I would rate it 5 out of 5 stars. While reading this book, I didn't encounter any errors, proving it was exceptionally well edited. I recommend this book to adolescents because it has a mild romance that would be ideal for them.
