The following review is of Looking Glass Friends by E. L. Neve.

It all started over a book. A book that was given/purchased for Neil by Ellie. Then given to her at the bakery where he worked. He was done with the book after a few days and upon its return enclosed a letter.

When Ellie went back to the bakery to buy her favorite goodies she received the book back from the baker that Neil had left it with and saw the enclosed envelope.

Neil was in a relationship, one that was fading fast and he was losing interest in. He never really loved her although things were comfortable so he stayed. He was miserable.

He quoted from the novel that he just finished, scribbled with different quotes from the book about love when writing to Ellie. He never related to a book like this before and found comfort within his life before meeting Ellie.
After some time and hesitation Ellie finally wrote back with more quotes and questions trying to understand his note further.

They quickly ignited a friendship exchanging emails and phone calls for months making both their spouses with their newfound friendship amongst each other jealous or at least holding onto questions about their marriages.
As the two embrace a brand new friendship that takes on twists and turns, Neve takes the reader on a whirlwind of an emotional rollercoaster as they develop their friendship and newfound love. As they evolve for the good and bad and good again Neve shares the ups and downs and self doubt that they both share with their weaknesses and pity for the spouse and prove that when love is right, and you're in the right place at the right time and in the right frame of mind. Love conquers all.

Super well written with no mistakes, and I give the book a 5 out of 5 stars. I’d recommend this to anyone who likes a good romance featuring star crossed lovers.
