In this brilliantly written fantasy fiction novel, the world of werewolves is brought to life with an intensity that stirs the human emotions, blending intense passion with moments of heartache and humor. This page turning novel will keep the reader on the edge of their seat from the first page to the last.

In Jessica Hall's Alpha's Regret, the reader follows Everly on an emotional, compelling journey filled with rejection, self-acceptance, and growth. Everly, cast away by her father, the alpha of their pack, faces rejection after becoming pregnant at 17 before meeting her destined mate. She now must learn to survive on her own, without friends or family, determined to provide the best life for her child without the support of her family, the father, or the pack.

At her lowest point, when Everly couldn't see a way forward, she meets Valerie, another rogue wolf who had faced rejection. They immediately become close friends. As their bond grows strong Valerie helps Everly realize her potential to raise her son as a single mother and achieve success along the way.

This story draws you in from the very beginning, captivating you with well-developed, rich characters and a roller-coaster of emotions. The author skillfully evokes both sympathy and excitement, making you laugh one moment and tear up the next. You'll find yourself rooting fervently for Everly and her son while feeling deep anger towards those who wrong them and cast them away.

I wholeheartedly give this novel 5 out of 5 stars. The author masterfully keeps you hooked from start to finish with near-flawless writing. The characters are well written making it easy to follow longer sections of dialogue. Due to adult themes and explicit language this book is better suited for mature audiences.
