Non-Fiction-Romance Novel

I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars

I loved reading this romance novel! It kept me tied to the book, and I couldn’t put it down. It had the perfect amount of steam and heart. I hated to have the book end. Typically, when you read a novel about a model you automatically drift toward the lifestyle of the 100-pound runway model. Yes, that was still a part of this novel, however, it included the side of a plus-size model. It had a romantic side that drew you in, and you could feel the electric sizzle between two people. I loved how a model icon now agent could be infatuated with a woman that is a plus-size model. Not to mention, all the cut throat crap that goes on when you are in the modeling industry. I was able to understand the dynamics of two sisters and how jealousy can tear you apart.

Claire and Erin have some issues with trust, the industry and just facing up to their feelings will have you caught up you won’t want to put the book down. The build-up and anticipation in the book was fantastic and made the journey that much more enjoyable. I enjoyed Claire’s journey on learning to love who she is and fully grasp her true self.

Claire, thinking she was going to have ex-model Erin Robertson now agent, a god himself, represent Janice so she could move on to other things.

I loved the epilogue but felt it was too short; I think the author should have added more to the epilogue, I felt a bit cut off. I would have loved to know what happens to Janice and her career. What happens to her relationship with her sister Claire?

This book is a stand-alone romance novel about two sisters in the modeling industry who are opposite in every way possible; Janice being the top female model in the industry, who is tall, platinum-blonde, blue-eyed angel who looks like a Goddess and will do anything to stay the that way. Her sister Claire, who was anything but the model industry’s type squeezing into a size eighteen was Janice’s Agent.

See, Claire, in her opinion was plump with simple features who was naturally empathetic to everyone around her. Growing up she understood and could relate to most woes, especially ones about her sister, so dealing with any emotional woe’s that had to do with Janice is what she did and with Colin, Janice’s boyfriend hadn’t been an exception. Only this time, things moved into a different direction and next thing you know, Claire was no longer a virgin. You would think this wouldn’t go over so well with her sister but Janice is the type of girl that utilizes everything to help promote herself and this wasn’t any different. And, this is where things started to change for Claire and Janice.
