I generally don't like historical fiction, but this book seems different because it seems well-structured with a decent character-development and an intriguing plot. Thanks for this insightful review.

Thank you for the review, I enjoyed reading it. A story about the love and slavery is something I always look forward to reading about. Lily's life is certainly beautiful.

The Podigy Slave by Londyn is written about Lily’s life. She’s born to a slave and sold at the little aged. She didn’t have what she wanted that other children have. Once she tried to play piano and she didn’t get a chance but later she gets all she wanted through her love. It’s like dream come true.

The lead character, Lily, is a slave who yearns to find her mother. She was separated from her mother at a tender age and sold at an auction. An unlikely friendship with her master's son comforts Lily until he punishes her for playing the piano. That incident sends Lily into an unforeseen world with captivating adventures.

In this book, The Prodigy Slave: Book One: Journey to Winter Garden by Londyn Sky characters are well developed and easily likeable especially the main character Lily. She is full of life, hope and adventure. This is a romantic historical novel. It includes themes of slavery, love and hope.

Although I'm not too fond of historical romance, Lily's story has piqued my curiosity. Congrats on BOTD!

Lily's magical use of the piano is luring. Is there more to it? I wish to find out.

Even though she was sold into slavery, Lily picked up a some talent. Her punishment was a blessing in disguise.

I've just finished reading this book, and was overwhelmed by the slaves' code. I can't imagine that those codes existed.

I am attracted to this book's intricate story line so richly promising to bring out valuable themes of talent, fate, and love unfettered by artificial social barriers. Thanks for the great review.
