Devilish by Tricia Barr

Devilish is a book about Lucifer, the Devil that came down to earth after trying for years and years to escape hell. Lucifer is a handsome, dark haired devil with so much sex appeal and many woman wanting his touch and attention, but he only has eyes for one woman, Felicity.

Felicity Claire is a journalist for the New York Times hoping to land a big scoop to move up in her career. Now, she has been sent to interview the Devil, who sends Felicity into a whirlwind of emotions that she cannot ignore. Felicity is undercover as an intern at Elektra Pharmaceuticals to uncover the truth about a virus that will be deadly to everybody. Now, Felicity is being forced to make a decision between the devil, who she loves, or the lives of the people.

I really enjoyed this book so much. I did find it a bit funny when it was the devil that was falling from the sky. I like that fact, because it is cliché to always hear that the devil came up from underground. I found it amazing how the author Tricia Barr put this story together, with how hell should be and who the devil could be, everything about this book was really in-depth. I felt so sorry for Felicity when Uriel had lied to her, being so engrossed in the book I can image how she was feeling at that point. I must say Felicity had a lot of courage to break into the lab and steal that virus, Alicia Hughes the Goth that worked in the lad, deserved that knock to the head. :D

There isn't anything I didn't like about the book at all it was a pleasure to read, and I do recommend that people read this book, even if it is not something they would read, but keep an open mind about it, because of the fact that it does talk about the devils views and feelings.

I am just curious about something, in the prologue it says “Janet Lambardi” but starting from Chapter 1 till the end it was Felicity Claire. Is it supposed to be like that or was it a mistake?

There were minor mistakes, nothing distracting from the read, and I will rate this book 4 out of 4 stars because it really captivated me. I am looking forward to reading more books by Tricia Barr
