Heartaches 2- Bad Boy Vibes, is the second novel in H.M. Irwing’s trilogy, Bad Boy Vibes. Yes, of course the other novels are Heartaches and Heartaches 3. Before I can pen down more information about this book, let me make it crystal clear that this book has a myriad of erotic episodes whereby romance, love and incidences of rape are the order of the day. I think that readers below the tender age of eighteen may not find this book to be appropriate for them. I thus raise a red flag that this book is not for young readers. Straight-laced people and even timorous individuals can also keep off given the thick erotic features of this book.
This story banks on the lives of Rafael Brown, commonly known as Rafe Brown, and Anna Simon Walters. This duo is formed when Rafe and Anna join hands in life. This comes when each of them learns that they have both had a dark past filled with lots of troubles. Anna, who is developed into the chief protagonist, has undergone very difficult moments. It is very ironical that this lady is made to suffer by people who ought to cover her up with the warm blanket of love.
Rafe Luis Brown is also not exempted from troubles. Just like Anna, he is raped by the Prestons and one Eric Dayton. What a disgrace! Now after their unity, the two are very busy working tirelessly round the clock to see that they have properly thwarted their former haters. I personally agreed with them since tit for tat is a fair game.
Alongside love and romance, the author gives us a bonus theme, action. This serves as a theme that adds more fun to Heartaches 2. The author makes this story very descriptive hence readers can easily cope up with the pace of the narration. The use of twists and turns serves to compel and engage readers to the story. This acts as a glue that will stick readers to the story from the first to the last page.
H.M. Irwing tells this story from the first person’s point of view. Anna and Rafe are engaged in the narration of the better parts of this story since they are the core characters. I felt as if they are speaking on a stage and that I am part of audience listening to them directly.
Heartaches 2 is therefore recommended to people who warm up towards romance and love. Lovers of action can also get a fine pie of this book. Since this is the second book in the series, it is very important since it serves as the turning point of the trilogy. The author weaves this story with several sensationalized situations thus exaggerating the story.
I really enjoyed reading this book and so I awarded it 4 out of 4 stars. You can purpose to give it a try and see for yourself how this story is properly written and edited.
