HEARTACHE 3 BY H.M IRWING
REVIEW BY KELVIN MWANIKI
The third installment of the heartache series has more to do with revenge than with love and romance. Although Anna and Rafe have managed to find love and happiness with each other they are still haunted by traumatic memories from their past that they just can’t let go. This is especially hard for Anna because of the sudden appearance of Matt Preston who was responsible for her rape and as if her troubles weren’t bad enough her sadistic stepbrother finds a way to slither his back into her life. This story tells the tale of how Rafe and Anna are intent on taking revenge for all the misery and grief they have suffered.

All in this entire book was amazing and I loved the entire revenge theme which the author brought to the table. I also loved the entire plot of the story and although not knowing Anna’s complete past and her relation with other characters kept me a little out of sync with their emotions, all in all, the book was great. I honestly think that adding revenge to the plot of the story made it more intriguing and entertaining to read.

Although the mood in the story is serious by adding a couple of intense erotic and romantic scenes the author was able to take away the edge of expected seriousness. This enabled the author to add a little bit of diversity to the book that made it a lot more interesting to read. The characters in the story were also relatable to the audience in the way they carried themselves. This made the book even more enjoyable to read in my own opinion. I could really relate to the character, Rafe and his desire to protect Anna from harm.

From the first book to the last, the heartache series was really epic and it gave me a whole perspective on romance novels. This book took all the expectations I had about the book and blew them out of the water. The authors writing skills in this book were incredible and also the author's grammatical errors have decreased compared to the first and second book. This book really shows you the sweet benefits and bitter costs of love. I also love how this book is not just a fairy tale love story with a predictable storyline. I guess you could say that this book made a fan of love stories.

I could not find any notable errors in the book and I found that the plot of the story was well done and beautifully executed. If you are a reader looking for a book that’s both exciting and full of drama or if you just looking for an interesting book to read then this is the book to read. Its story will keep your eyes glued to the book and its heartwarming story will bring you to tears, even if you are not a big fan of romance novels. I would like to rate this book 4 out of 4 stars.
