I love any romance really. But I do think it's something special to write love letters or poetry. Because to me it requires true openness to put it to paper. I wasnt sure if I wanted to read it, because I'm afraid that that it may have some adulterous behavior in it. However I am still curious as to what happens. This book puts me in the mind of the movie "lake house" with Sandra Bullock. Congratulations on BOTD, I think I may give it a chance.

The author of "Looking Glass Friends", E. L. Neve, weaves a romantic tale of two unhappy married couples who fell in love over email. The said couple are discussing their common interest - "Atlas Shrugged" by Ayn Rand.

It is a very good addition that this book is exceptionally well-edited.

I'm not usually one to read romance novels with anything less than a massive action/adventure side-story (or, more pleasingly, a main plot), but this one seems so appealing that I might have to give it a read! It's amazing that this book introduced you to another that you believe worthwhile. Thanks for the great review! :)

When the reviewer said “I have to say I am very hard to please when it comes to writing style” I wondered to myself why they would review books then. As I read the review further did I understand what they meant. I too am very critical of amateur writers. This is a well written review that makes this book sound fascinating.

A romance that is both fascinating and well written is certainly something I look forward to reading. Incorporating references to “Atlas Shrugged” is a nice touch. Thanks for the review!

I sampled the first 4 chapters of this book and I didnt want to put it down! The love triangle they have got going on sounds intriguing and I am interested to see where Neil and ellie's relationship ends up. I too was hooked on this authors writing style from the first sentence!

When someone describes a book like this as a dreamy weave of romance, poetry and philosophy, all at once - you can't help but check it out.

I think the infidelity in this book would bother me too much despite the nice writing style mentioned in your review.

This seems like a deep read, with many different issues being explored. The author also doesn't seem afraid to spell out things like it is, without sugarcoating. I'm glad that you enjoyed reading this one. Thanks for the review!

Great review.
I'm not really interested in romance, though I think this a rare time that I've seen it mixed with philosophy and "Atlas Shrugged". Glad to know that Neve's writing style is amazing.
