While trying to get rid of her supermodel sister to the gorgeous Erin Robertson, modeling agent, Claire Williams suddenly finds herself accepting a job as a plus sized model with Erin as her agent. Claire accepts the job needing something of her own and a break from Janice, her sister. As the love between Claire and Erin grows, Claire wonders why someone as handsome as Erin would love someone like her who is a plus size. When Erin tells Claire why he finds himself so drawn to her, Claire begins to feel a little more confident about her looks and is eventually able to stand up for herself.

What I liked about this book was how real the everyday life of a model seemed to be. From being stripped down and redressed to not being able to eat, I applaud the author for doing such a great job at bringing this world to life. While reading, I watched Claire go from not being confident about herself and shy, to being a plus sized model bursting with confidence. However, I think Claire having Erin in her corner had a lot to do with her becoming more confident by the end of the book. As for my dislikes, there are none. The book was well executed from beginning to end and every question I had had been answered.

There were two errors within the book, two chapter eights which through the rest of the chapters off and a blank page before the epilogue. Other than that, the book seemed professionally edited.

Despite the chapters being miss numbered and the blank page, I still rate Curve Couture by H. M. Irwing 4 out of 4 stars. From the very beginning, I was hooked by this book and could not put it down. As I got closer to the end, I couldn't wait to see how the book would conclude and I must say that I am pleased with how it ended. The errors that I did find did not stop me from enjoying this book; in fact, I almost missed them because I was so intrigued by the book. H. M. Irwing does another fantastic job at creating characters that are so life-like that I could have seen them passing me on the street.

As for my recommendation, I would recommend this book to the 18 and older crowed as there are some explicit scenes and some crude language throughout the book. However, if you don't mind any of that then you will love this romance as the lesson within it is: we are all beautiful and no one should tell us how to look.

A lovely romance. I was captivated from the first word on the page and never wanted to put the book down.

Sounds like an interesting read, but I'm not a fan of the "why would a guy like me if I'm fat" trope. I don't think this is a book for me.

Those explicit scenes and crude language in the the book make me a little wary of picking this book up.

Beautifully written review though! :)
