I rate this book, One Way or Another by Mary J Williams, a 4 out of 4. This was the first time that a read a book by this author and I was really impressed and look forward to reading the rest of this series, The Sister Quarter.

Calder Benedict is a rich and hardworking woman that has a very successful charity organization in New York City. She has proven everyone wrong that has ever though of her as a spoiled rich kid born with a silver spoon in her month when she started Erica’s Angels and made it into a million-dollar organization.

She is a strong woman with an incredible relationship with her sisters, although they all have different fathers -and a very interesting mother- they love each other fiercely and the bond between them is strong. Their mother was never really nurturing so they had to depend on each other a lot.

Adam Stone is a strong, protective gentleman with a wicked sense of humor and the perfect fit for Calder. They meet by accident and both leaf an impression on the other. He is unfazed by Calder’s money as he himself has work very hard to be where he is today, but unlike Calder he had to earn everything that he had and was not born into wealth.

This book is about Calder Benedict and Adam Stone and their fun, exciting and full of humor journey in falling in love. The romance between them had me glued to each page and I love the fact that there was a buildup to their relationship and friendship before they jumped into bed. They are the perfect couple but the story is relatable and not far-fetched.

This is not only a really good romance between Calder and Adam but also the relationship between the Benedict sisters. I love the fact that each of the fiercely loyal sister will be getting their own book and can’t wait to read each of them in this series.

There is nothing about this book that I did not love from the bond between the sisters, to the adorable ‘mamma’s boy’ relationship Adam has with his mother and last but not the least the sparks between Adam and Calder that make you feel all warm and fuzzy.

Everything in this book screams read me and I would recommend it to anyone that loves a good romance novel, and that is way I gave this book a 4 out of 4.
