The Bible does not talk about Job's wife much except for when she told Job to curse God and die. This book was an interesting read because it made readers wonder just how Job's wife felt when their family and possessions were being taken away from them. Thanks for the review!

I have always felt the way Job's wife was treated is very unfair, thus I am happy that her story at last has been told. Even if it is only fictional. The description of her feelings in the notes on Amazon seems to paint a very clear picture of utter depression and anxiety. I cannot imagine surviving loosing all my children (even if I had ten of them!), so I certainly never blamed her for her despair. Now I feel that she has been redeemed in some way.

For me, Job's is the most heart-wrenching story in the Old Testament. I wouldn't wish to be in his shoes. But I never pondered how Job's sufferings affected his wife. Surely she must have had it hard too.

I like this unique point of view. It reminds me of Francine Rivers. Great review!

There's no doubt that Cynthia is an amazing author, not many people will think of Job's wife the way she did. This is a must read frictional book also based on the bible. Well deserved book of the day.

There wasn't really much said about Job's wife in the Bible. To see an entire book written about her is fascinating. I'll definitely love to read the narrative.

This book sheds light to the story of Job's wife, which is not spoken about as much as it should. It contains Christian ideas but the romance aspect of the book could appeal to a much wider audience. Congrats on the BOTD!

I'm not into religious books, so this one didn't seem like one I would like to read. The author analyzes the relationship between Job and his wife and deepens the biblical story. Congrats on BOTD!

Thank you for your lovely review! Though not a Christian, I have read the Bible cover to cover and recall the story of Job. I am drawn to this story told from the point of view of Job’s wife.

This is a very different perspective to look at the story of Job. Growing up in church I have heard this story many times but never from Job's wife's point of view. Very interesting! Thank you for your review!

The stories of today's era are reflections of past stories. This could be well understood pondering upon the Word of God and this book is one among them.

I am not a religious person and thereby this book is completely not my cup of tea. I certainly have no interest in biblical characters' lives and interpretation of their actions from a modern point of view. History is something to learn and try to never repeat anything bad. Anyway, congrats with BOTD!
