It would be interesting to view Job's story through the eyes of someone close to him. The reason why so little is said of Job's wife and his she felt about the suffering they went through is because the focus was kept on Job and his faith in God. In this book, the focus is kept more on Ix'isus and how she experienced everything. I am in two minds about ready g fictional books that are based on stories of the Bible though.

Honestly, if someone forget the promises of God after a painful or hurting event, there is a probability that individual will say things he or she is not supposed to say. Such was the case of the female character portrayed in this book. Congrats on the botd and a well written review.

I love the choice of the author's cover and the title of the book, immediately after reading the title of the book I was hooked. It made me think of Job from the bible. I enjoyed going through the official review. CONGRATULATIONS ON BOTD 🎊🎊

This seems like a well written and captivating Christian fiction book. It's interesting that the author chose to craft a story about Job's wife. There isn't much written about her and I'm curious how the story will unfold in this book. Congratulations on making book of the day!

This gives a different view to the story of Job. It sounds interesting but its not my something that I would read. Thanks for the review.

What makes me happy and curious to read the book is that it views some painful actions and tries to help the reader view the tragedy that befell Job and Ix’ises from her perspective. I love happy endings too.

Really enjoyed the short few provided pages and reading the review of "The Legacy of Job's Wife" by Cynthia Koelker. The review was well expressed in such a manner that, anybody, believers and non believers, married or single, and having children or not, can easily associate with this story. Being not just a biblical love story; thanks for the review. Looking forward to the reading the rest of the book.

This is a wonderful piece and impactful one. I think it would give me the complete knowledge and applications of lessons to be learned from the story of Job. Congrats on BOTD.

The Legacy of the Job’s wife is a fictional story. He wrote about the role of women in families and how important that is. I’m eager to read it.

I don't know the biblical story this story was from. Fictional stories like this book are not my type of books to read. The obc review praised the book for its writing. So maybe other people would enjoy reading this book.

I don't know much about this biblical story so I'm incapable of truly appreciating the author's efforts in retelling the story of Job and his wife. But the writing style is wonderful, and I'm sure other readers will enjoy this novel.

Cynthia Koelker did a great job introducing another perspective to assessing Job's wife and the circumstances surrounding her utterance at the darkest moment in her family. It's great having to consider the trauma from such deep losses of her children, which might have prompted such outburst of unbelief.

It is true that not much attention has been paid to Job's wife. It must have been hard seeing her husband suffer at the hand of God. I'm eager to read this story. Interesting review.

I look forward to reading about this author's idea on the ancient story of Job and his wife. I think she asked him to curse God because he was in so much agony. Beautiful review.
