Deception Point & Digital Fortress were really good.

My understanding is that this is already happening. Birth rates have not continued to skyrocket as the population theorists of the 1970s predicted that they would. As countries get more developed, birth rates level off and then start to decline.

I DO think we have a distribution problem, but that is more due to wars, greed, and politics than there being too many people.

A very typical Dan Brown book and it is not a bad thing. One of my favourites.

Thanks to everyone who suggested Dan Brown books for me. I really appreciate it. I'm looking froward to starting Inferno, then will definitely work my way through his other books.
Thanks again :D

Like most Dan Brown books, it was an enjoyable popcorn read with plenty of art, history, and a plot twist. It was an enjoyable way to pass a couple of bad weather afternoons around here. Ultimately, I think the Robert Langdon character should be retired and Brown should write about something outside of his hollywood novel pattern. I would give it a 2, enjoyable but not earthshattering, and I will probably pass on his books until he puts out something different.
Adventure...one part stupidty plus two parts perseverence....yeah, that's me!

Inferno was in all very enjoyable though not the best book I have book I ever read. I enjoyed it; plot, characters and background were all very thought out and it was obvious that Dan Brown did his research. The proposition Brown makes of overpopulation is interesting and is able to engage the readers mind long after the book is set down as it a real world problem we face today.

Characters were good, well-rounded but somehow seemed to be missing that zing from Browns Angels and Demons. The book plots and turns were interesting but perhaps a little lengthy as the reader could become annoyed by the overdoing of them as Brown does here.

Overall, I'd give it a 4 star rating. Good, possibly read again material but didn't love it.

When it comes to the book Inferno, Dan Brown's basic formula is there: main character gets pulled into a situation that calls for his expert opinion which in turn leads to global clue finding. Even with being spoon fed Brown's usual style, I still found Inferno to be an enjoyable read. I'd give it a solid 3 out of 4. In my opinion, its a good book to pick up, but it's not one that leaves you longing when you put it down.

I had read Inferno last year, and enjoyed it. This month I went back and started rereading it, while reading Dante's Inferno at the same time. Picturing the imagery from both of them has been pretty cool, especially comparing Langdon's dream to the river Styx.

I put that I thought it was fair/okay...although I do enjoy his books, I am personally getting a little tired of the Dan Brown plot twist. I would recommend it to someone who likes Dan Brown books, and to someone who never read his books. Having read most of his books, I am kind of over it unfortunately.

It is a good book and I would recommend it to those who haven't read Dan Brown's other books. This is because most of his books are quite similar, and if you have read his other books then you may not like this one so much.

I lovdd reading The Da Vinci Code and after this book felt that Dan was just repeating the same thing again and again in all his successive books..I am still to read Inferno and desperately hope that this book turns out differently than the rest..

So far, I have read 10 chapters or so, and it has me hooked!
The only reason I haven't gone crazy and read it all in one night is because I only have a small window of time to read.
Definitely recommend it!

I'm planning on starting this book really soon but I'm not particularly excited about it. I was really disappointed by The Lost Symbol and that the same will happen with this one ...
